Concept Refresh

As an average guideline, the lifespan of a restaurant can be in need of a ‘refresh’ after a successful operating period of about 5-7 years. This of course is not always the case, but in many cases operators may see a decline in performance.

There are many reasons for negative turns in restaurant and bar performance including.

General Concept is no longer appealing to the audience (and sometimes never was) Competition has entered the market (with similar or other concepts but diluting the available market share) Dated design.

Poor management/service or quality of offering Even all of the above.

MBJ Associates would come in to review your operation and give a full analysis of the findings and a proposal for a ‘concept refresh’.

We work with owners/operators to understand their thoughts and asks, as well as budgets available to invest in the ‘refresh’ of the concept.

As we have operated many venues in the past we have a full understanding of how things can change. There are often multiple reasons to refresh your concept or your venue and together with you we will develop a strong plan for recovery.
